U channels are used for chassis, runners, rails and load-bearing frames. On channels up to 220 mm high we laser-cut the ends and the holes and slots in the web and flanges.

We work with both rolled and press-braked channels, and can also produce your bent U parts with our press brake bending service.

Flange holes on U channels

Holes in U-channel flanges usually take runners, rollers or bolts, and opposite holes must share one axis. Because both flanges are cut in the same program, there is no misalignment. Slots in the web can carry cables and hydraulic lines.

For U channel laser cutting, simply write the size as height × flange width × wall thickness on your drawing; we position all web and flange holes from that.
