H and I sections carry loads as columns and beams in steel structures. On H sections up to 220 mm we laser-cut flange connection holes, web slots and end joint cuts.
Laser-made connection details make bolt holes line up exactly on site, reducing reaming and on-site corrections.
Connection details on H beams
Flange holes, web cuts and weld preparation at column-beam joints set the pace of site assembly. With laser-prepared connections bolts fit first time, with no reaming or grinding on site. For platforms and mezzanines we number parts in assembly order.
H beam laser cutting works best when you state the section standard (e.g. HEA 200, IPE 200) on the drawing, which fixes all flange and web dimensions.
The largest outside size must not exceed 220 mm. Ask us about wall thickness and length.
